- Call-Back:
- After the flashback in "Gum and Gummer", Chef mentions that only one of the three kids in it (Trent, Katie, and DJ) was ever seen again afterwards. This episode reveals that Katie was the one Chef was referring to.
- MacArthur's seen working as a hot dog vendor, just like in "That's a Wrap".
- The Cameo: The kid version of Katie makes a reappearance while the kid version of Geoff makes his first actual appearance when both of them are shown at the same beach that Duncan, Cody and Beth are at.
