The World Closing In
Olivia Baker arrives back in town and is interviewed by police. After, she meets up with Clay where she reveals to him that Bryce's family were the ones who called immigration against Tony's family.
Flashback. Jessica receives a text from Olivia, telling her that she has sold the family home and she is still struggling to get over Hannah's death.
Present Day. Clay confronts Tony about what Bryce's family did as this would give Tony plenty of motive to hurt him. Tony reassures Clay that he didn't hurt Bryce but he did confront him to tell him about the hurt his family had caused him.
Flashback. Tony had made Bryce listen to Hannah's tapes and Bryce is clearly ashamed when he hears them. He claims he wants to talk to Hannah's mother and apologise to her for his role in Hannah's suicide. When Tony asks Olivia if she would accept, she immediately shut him down. Bryce decides to visit Olivia anyway. She responds to his apology by telling him she wishes that he would feel a lifetime of what sorry means, rejecting his apology. She later leaves a drunk voicemail on Clay's phone stating she was devastated Bryce was able to go to homecoming when Hannah never got that chance. She says she wishes him dead and would shoot him if she could. Clay doesn't turn the voicemail in to the police.
Present Day. Clay tells Jessica the real reason Justin broke up with her so she goes to Monet's during his shift. She tells him that she rejects his break up and will be there to help him through his struggle.
Flashback. Clay is on the way to ask Ani to the homecoming dance. Bryce is in the driveway and sees Clay is going to ask her out so he responds by making fun of him. Clay threatens Bryce saying if he ever touched Ani, he'd kill him. Bryce tells Clay that he can have sex with Ani whenever he wants to which freaks Clay out. The following day, Bryce asks Ani if Clay is her boyfriend. Ani says he isn't and Bryce tells Ani that he needs her before aggressively grabbing her arm. This scares Ani and she runs away.
Present Day. Olivia meets with Nora Walker and they talk about what it felt like when Hannah died. Olivia tells Nora that Bryce apologised but she couldn't forgive him. She does tell Nora that she thinks Bryce wanted to change. Nora apologises and Olivia says even if they find out who killed her son, it won't bring him back.
Justin tells Clay that he knows it was him who told Jessica about his drug problem. Clay says he's sorry but Justin just says that he's fine with it because he couldn't tell her himself. The police arrive at the Jensen's house with a search warrant.
