  • Korra severely injures Ming-Hua, but it is not clear that she is dead.
  • Korra suddenly collapses at the end of the chapter due to the effects of a dart Zaheer shot her with.
• Big Damn Heroes:
  • Mako helps Asami after she is stabbed by Zaheer.
  • Korra manages to catch Bolin before he hits the ground.
• Death by Adaptation: Ghazan and P'Li die about a year before Harmonic Convergence at Korra's hands instead of dying after it like they do in canon.
• Go Out with a Smile: Subverted. When Asami is about to die from the stab wounds that Zaheer inflicted upon her, she has a smile on her face when she begins to lose consciousness. However, Korra manages to save her life before she died.
• Healing Hands: Korra is able to use waterbending and the Avatar State to save Asami's life.
• Ship Tease: Korra has this with Asami and Bolin since she inadvertently activated the Avatar State to save their lives.
