When Princess Morbucks loses all her money, she turns to the Powerpuff Girls for shelter. Buttercup thinks a leopard can never change its spots, but Blossom thinks she can make Princess nice. When Princess offers a plan to help the girls' lemonade stand business and it succeeds, Blossom and Princess becomes fast friends. But things take a turn when Princess sees an opportunity to retain her money.
This episode provides examples of:
- Riches to Rags/Rags to Riches: Princess loses her money due to a bad investment with her father having to "lay low" while she stays with the girls for a bit. Once she helps Blossom with her lemonade business, she gives into temptation and uses Blossom's recipe to turn it into a franchise and regain her money.
- Running Gag: When Blossom stages a pretend birthday for Bubbles to show Princess how to be nice, Bubbles spends the rest of the episode thinking it's her birthday (apparently forgetting she shares the same b-day with her sisters).
- Status Quo Is God: Slightly, Princess is rich again and back to being the girls' enemy. But she does show she has a good side to her and calls off her initial attack on the girls. She even keeps the present Blossom made for her.
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: Princess takes the present Blossom gave her, but states she's not doing it because they're friends, rather she wants to take it home and break it herself. She calls off her attack to do so with Blossom ribbing her that she's has some good in her which Princess keeps denying.
