• Artistic Licence – History: The Queen and Michael Fagan are depicted having a long conversation about the effects of Margaret Thatcher's policies before he gets arrested, but in an interview in 2012, Fagan himself said the Queen immediately ran out looking for security, and they never exchanged any words.
• Sympathetic P.O.V.: Fagan benefits considerably from one of these. In Real Life, he came across as something of a Stalker with a Crush towards the Queen, and was later in trouble with the law for assaulting a police officer and dealing heroin. Which the closing credits do not mention.
