Thieves and Investigators
After a short conversation in which Yu states he wishes to know the truth about the Thieves, Joker suddenly lunges at him with his dagger and gun. Yu holds him off well with his sword, and Joker soon stops, praising his skills. Yu affirms that he's there to prevent as many deaths as possible and wants to compare notes with the Thieves to protect everyone. Joker agrees before asking to meet up at Café Leblanc.
The Investigation Team sans Naoto meets at Leblanc, where Sojiro directs them to the attic to meet the Thieves. The groups exchange introductions and Ren prepares curry for everyone. The conversation then turns to how Wakaba was killed and how the Phantom Thieves formed, leading into comparing their different methods of Awakening to Personas. After briefly touching on the incident with the Shadow Operatives in 2012, they compare their experiences with killing gods, and Yu asks if there are any pieces left of Yaldabaoth.
Later, after meeting up with Naoto, the Investigation Team muses on the likelihood of there being pieces despite the Thieves' ignorance, which may have facilitated the Outbreaks. They resolve to continue protecting people, and upon recalling how Ryuji's hair sparked at one point, Yu confirms that they can use their Personas' magic in the real world.
