The episode begins with Aniq and Zoe, now dating since the events of last season, arriving at a lavish estate for a very special occasion: the marriage of Zoe's younger sister, Grace. The happy couple are highly impressed by the property, Zoe especially since it belongs to the family of the groom and voices her happiness for her sister even though Grace and her fiancé haven't even been together for a full year. Aniq, on the other hand, is anxious about the wedding, especially upon seeing Zoe's parents waiting to meet them alongside the bride and groom much sooner than Aniq was expecting to meet them. Zoe, however, reassures her boyfriend and says that while Brett is taking care of Maggie for the weekend, they have the entire weekend to enjoy and have fun and that nothing bad will happen in the following days.

- Clueless Detective: Travis sees himself as an Amateur Sleuth but it's quickly obvious many of the "cases" he claims to have solved never even existed (like a guy having his wife's body in a beanbag chair.)
- Foreshadowing: Travis speculates that Sebastian "is a fake name." While that's not true, it ends up playing into the later season reveal that Sebastian is a con man.
- Jerkass Realization: Aniq is more than slightly jarred when Vivian says he's acting just like Brett was in trying too hard to impress everyone.
