After the Titans win a ton of money in a snack food contest, the IRS arrives to collect a portion of the winnings. Although Robin extolls the importance of taxes, the others refuse, leading Raven to magically banish tax collectors from history.

- Ignored Aesop: At the end of the episode, Robin proclaims that the Titans have learned an important lesson about the value of taxes...only to frustratingly realize that the other Titans refused to learn anything at all.
- It's a Wonderful Plot: Raven banishing the IRS agents shows what Jump City would be like without taxes paying for important public services, such as the Titans having to use a third of their prize money to pay for price-gouged food that's covered in bugs due to a lack of health inspectors, and the only way to fix things is for the Titans to become tax collectors themselves.
- Literal Metaphor: The only way that the Titans can collect enough money to fix the whole city before it burns to the ground is to extract it from the titular Fat Cats, who are depicted as obese kittens in business suits.
