Beast Boy gets wounded during a battle and feels miserable until Cyborg convinces him that scars are cool.
- Animate Body Parts: When Beast Boy decides to start manually removing body parts instead of getting injured in battle, his limbs and eyeball are able to keep moving on their own and cause mischief.
- Deliberate Injury Gambit: Cyborg convincing Beast Boy that scars and getting his body parts replaced with cybernetics are cool works too well, with Beast Boy intentionally losing an arm in the next battle to replace it with one that's cybernetic.
- Rugged Scar: Beast Boy gains one during the opening fight. As he gets more injured and replaces more parts of himself with robot parts, Raven certainly considers him more rugged, openly fawning over him.
- Title Drop: To prove that having scars are cool, Cyborg asks Beast Boy who's the toughest person he knows; when Beast Boy says it's Raven, he then asks "Who's the toughest Man Person you know?", which is Cyborg, who was scarred and then rebuilt with cool robot parts.
