The other Titans learn that Robin can't whistle when he botches a signal during a mission against the H.I.V.E. Five.
- Expy: Robin is eventually forced to seek out the "Master of Whistling" in an ancient castle, who turns out to be a sentient teapot that looks identical to Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast.
- Interrupted by the End: After saving the other Titans from the H.I.V.E. Five with his new whistling abilities and Robin impressing Starfire with his puckered-lip whistling skills, the episode is about to end with them kissing, but it cuts to credits right before their lips touch.
- Training Montage: After reaching the "Master of Whistling", Robin undergoes one, training his whistling powers to the point that his whistles can break wooden boards.
- Verbal Backspace: Robin insists that he doesn't need to learn a trivial skill such as whistling, but the moment that Starfire offers to teach him, he immediately accepts in order to spend time with her.
