- Flowers of Femininity: The Junkyard Planet robot is a feminine bot who loves flowers. This even prompts her Meaningful Rename; Blossom.
- Foreshadowing: TK finds a painting of some flowers, and later, some metallic flowers made from spare parts. The only person who could have made them is the other robot living on the Junkyard Planet, hinting that she's not scary like TK thinks she is.
- Nice Girl: Blossom, the Junkyard Planet robot, who helps the kids get across a crevasse, and later finds them the rocket booster they need.
