Recovering One
The Reds battle against the Freelancers go on, with an unexpected element coming into play.
Tropes:
- Berserk Button: The minute Church sees Washington, he becomes so angry he activates his beam attack.
- Comically Missing the Point: Simmons, unaware of Church's "laser-face" function or that it activates when he's mad, is confused by Grif and Sarge suddenly insulting Church. But rather than join in on throwing insults at Church he starts insulting the two of them instead.Sarge: Not insults for us Simmons, for him!
Simmons: I don't understand the rules of your stupid game I just got here! - Painfully Slow Projectile: After the Meta's time-distorter short-circuits mid-punch, he continues to sloooowly swing at Doc. Doc jokes about the Meta taking so long, but Simmons warns that his punch could still carry the same amount of force. Lightly tapping against Doc's head sends the medic into the wall.
- Take That!: When Grif laments that insulting Church isn't working and that they need something to make him angry, Simmons asks if he has seen the last episode of The Sopranos yet.
