After the Space Pirates stage a surprise attack on Armonia, the Feds and Rebels evacuate the city as the Pirates lay siege to it, planning to blow up Armonia's reactor.

- Death Trap: Epsilon plans to turn Armonia into one for the pirates. Since the Mercs are dropping every solider they have into the city, the armies of Chorus should evacuate anyway they can, then send a team to detonate the city's nuclear reactor while the pirates are still inside, thus blowing up everything Charon has to throw at them.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Grif accidentally gets Lopez stuck in the Pelican by trying to start it while Lopez was inside it trying to fix the engine.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Sarge switches out of his iconic shotgun in favor of a more pragmatic machine gun turret when stating they need to hold the armory until they can get the hell out of there. This shows the situation is so dire even Sarge is taking it seriously and is willing to disregard his skewed sense of "honor" and use any weapon available to make it out alive.
- Redemption Rejection: Carolina offers Sharkface several chances to just walk away, but he refuses all of them and continues trying to murder her.
