- Be Careful What You Wish For: When Haywire unexpectedly attacks Michael, reveals that he has regained all his memories of how Michael landed him back in the psych ward, and threatens to destroy the map he has drawn if he's not included in the escape, he tells Michael that he should be careful when asking people to remember things.
- Call-Back: Michael reminds Haywire that the latter called the pills invisible handcuffs while convincing him to once again stop taking them.
- No Medication for Me: Haywire has been put back to taking his meds, but once Michael has him remember his tattoos again by returning Haywire to his habit of discreetly throwing them up, Haywire regains his previous revulsion of the "invisible handcuffs".
- Photographic Memory: Once Haywire's been out of his meds long enough, he draws a perfect copy of Michael's destroyed tattoo part on paper despite having last seen it in the fourth episode.
