At an archeological dig site, a group of researchers discover a metallic box, and as word gets out, Ransik recognizes it as a device from Time Force called the Quantum Controller, and sends Brickneck to get it. As the Rangers try to keep the controller out of the wrong hands, Eric, wanting to gain leadership in the Silver Guardians, takes the box for himself to get the power of Quantum Ranger.
