Zayto and his allies receive a message from outer space, but he has difficulty deciphering it and loses hope until he receives encouragement.
Episode Tropes:
- Arbitrary Skepticism: Ollie tells Zayto that psychics are ridiculous. ZAYTO CAN READ MINDS.
- An Aesop: Never give up, even if things look impossible.
- Bittersweet Ending: Although Zayto hears the message at the end of the episode, it is in a language nobody can translate, and it is not clear if it even came from Rafkon. Regardless, Zayto takes it as hope that somebody out there might be from Rafkon and sends out his own message.
- Call-Back: The item that a Hengemen was thrown into during the first episode reappears here, revealing that it's part of a galactic communication device and that it had gotten damaged during the fight.
- Chekhov's Gun: The pendant Zayto received from his mother turned out to be the thing Solon needed to make a new modulator.
- Disability Immunity: Solon is immune to Vypeera's gaze due to her eyes having been long replaced by cybernetic parts.
- Heroic BSoD: With Vypeera being impossible to fight without looking at her, and no luck finding out what the message was, Zayto was close to this until Solon finds something.
