As the Rangers go camping, Ollie brings in some seemingly useless equipment. However, they may be useful for helping to counter the Sporix threat.

- Bittersweet Ending: The Rangers do defeat Roostafa and claim his Sporix Cell. However, it's small potatoes as Void Knight's plan worked in the end and he claimed three Cells before the Rangers stopped him.
- Brick Joke: Javi is shown eating all the marshmallows for s'mores. Later when they find Void Knight, Mucus proclaims that the rangers should go roast marshmallows to which Javi replies that he ate them all.
- Chekhov's Gun: All the camping equipment Ollie brought with him was used to construct an arrow and crossbow.
- Hypocritical Humor: Javi is baffled by Ollie "pep-talking" his Hyper Arrow, despite the fact that he is a Power Ranger and Calling Your Attacks has been a franchise staple since day one.
- Impeded Communication: Void Knight's plan was to launch a balloon that blocks the Ranger's communication, teleportation, and the Ranger Hotline.
- Ship Tease: Amelia thinks Ollie is "kind of adorable" as he encourages his Hyper Arrow.
- Wishing Well: J-Borg throws a coin at a well and wishes for another way to call the Rangers. When the pay phone fails, J-Borg asks for a refund.
