Postman Pat and the Spotty Situation is the 7th episode in Series 3 of Postman Pat.
Chickenpox has come to Greendale, and everyone seems to be catching it. Pat has to deliver a lot of calamine lotion and other care items on his rounds.
Tropes:
- Chekhov's Classroom: Mr. Pringle is teaching the children a song when Pat first visits the school. At the end of the episode, the kids visit Pat to sing it for him while he has chickenpox.
- Chickenpox Episode: Nearly everyone in Greendale catches chickenpox in this episode, even some adults.
- Dwindling Party: The chickenpox numbers slowly climb up throughout the episode: first Katy and Tom Pottage, then Lucy Selby, Bill Thompson, Julian, Sarah Gilbertson, Reverend Timms, Jeff and Charlie Pringle, Meera, and finally Pat.
