"The Cream of the Crop" is the third episode of Object Lockdown. Since Drago has quit the show to go home with his family, the show manages to find a replacement though Notebook. After the first Lockdown Session of the series, the contestants go to Cone E. Island to make some ice cream.

- Debut Queue: This episode is this for Notebook, who was previously in Super Object Battle. It is also the (proper) introduction of Object Lockdown's co-host, Lock.
- Shout-Out: When Pumpkin tells his team that they should make their ice creams bad, there is a brief shot of a white background with two images: one of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival (which was critically panned for not being a true installment of the series) and episode one of the first Object Terror reboot (which is actually more of a love it or hate it scenario).
- Long Bus Trip: Drago gets sent on one. In the intro, his shot just shows a gravestone as if he was actually dead.
