Michael blackmails Nikita into using her connection with Gogol to track down Kasim by threating to expose Alex. She lures him out by destroying a heroin shipment, captures him and betrays Gogol again, possibly inviting major backlash.
Michael and her meet in a safe house they used when Nikita was still with Division. There, they find out that Kasim used to be a Division agent, who was ordered by Percy to kill Michael to establish his cover in the Al Quaeda, before truly defecting when he realized that Percy was not going to help him.
After Nikita kills Kasim, Michael has to face the fact that Percy was the man behind his family's death. He defects to Nikita's side, and they kiss passionately.
