"Keaton" is the sixth episode of New Girl's third season.
In an attempt to shake Schmidt out of his funk, the roommates exploit his belief that he is pen pals with Michael Keaton.
- Halloween Episode: This is set around Halloween; Jess throws a Halloween party to help Cece get over Schmidt and trick-or-treaters are a plot point.
- Pen Pals: Schmidt wholeheartedly believes he sent letters back and forth with his childhood idol Michael Keaton. In reality, it was a ruse by his mother; Nick kept it up through email in college.
- The Moving Experience: At the end, Schmidt resolves to move out, and it's treated as a sad moment for all involved...until we learn he's just moving across the hall.
