The Shinobazu Arc is the fifteenth filler arc in the original Naruto anime and the fourteenth of the Post-Sasuke Retrieval filler arcs.
Short Summary
Naruto, Sakura, and Lee are tasked with escorting a prison ship en route to the Land of Forests' capital. The prisoner is a member of a criminal group called the Shinobazu, missing-nin who willingly betrayed their own villages to pillage and murder. The other members will stop at nothing to get their comrade back...but not for the reason that the Konoha shinobi think. Meanwhile, the head guard from the Land of Forests, Todoroki, struggles with his contempt for the prisoner due to a personal tragedy he experienced long ago.
