The Menma Arc is the sixteenth filler arc in the original Naruto anime and the fifteenth of the Post-Sasuke Retrieval filler arcs.
Short Summary
A boy from the Land of Rice Fields ends up meeting Naruto after falling off a cliff and losing his memory. The two strike up a friendship with Naruto renaming the boy Menma, after a bamboo shoot. When a foreign shinobi comes to claim the boy's life, Naruto and Menma take off for the Land of Rice Fields, along with Neji and Tenten, in order to recover the amnesiac's lost memories and capture the foreigner.
