The Searchers prepare for the World Monster Cup but find Mocchi is the only one qualified to enter. Soon they run into a reformed Naga, who promises to be Mocchi's partner. Suezo is adamant that Naga is still evil and refuses to forgive him for destroying his village, but the rest of the Searchers are fine with the partnership.
Meanwhile, Poison approaches Gali and asks him to join Durahan's gang, but he won't give her his answer until the end of the tournament. As it turns out, Gali is Naga's final opponent in the tournament. Naga seems beaten at first, but with encouragement from everyone, including Suezo, he's able to defeat Gali. Gali refuses Poison's offer, and they part ways as friends.
