Needing to cross the sea to reach the site of the next battle, the Searchers stop by a port town. There, they find their old friend Captain Horn the pirate. The problem is that he's lost his ship to a bunch of evil Ghosts!
Tropes
- Dreadful Musician: The only way to beat the Ghosts? Suezo's singing! And when Horn joins in, he proves to be no better.
- Drowning Their Sorrows: Horn is doing this when we first see him.
- Drunk on Milk: No, this is not a dub thing. In the original Japanese version, the bartender angrily asks how Horn can be drunk just drinking tea.
- Forgot About His Powers: When the Ghosts tie up the heroes, Genki has to remind Horn and Suezo to use their teleport to slip out of the ropes.
- Ghost Ship: Subverted. While Horn's ship was stolen by a group of Ghost monsters, it's not actually haunted. However, eyewitness reports of the spooky ship caused a rumor of such a ship to emerge.
- No Sympathy: The heroes aren't particularly bothered by Horn's troubles. Since they're in a hurry, they just walk away wishing him luck.
