Nebula sets a trap to rid themselves of Lan.
- Actually a Doombot: As Chaud is attacking Desert Man, he isn't any more effective than Lan was, until a grain of sand behind him randomly drops. Chaud deduces the Desert Man they've been attacking was a decoy and the real Desert Man used the sand in the room to hide. He promptly turns around and stabs a pile of sand with his sword revealing the darkloid.
- Big Damn Heroes: Chaud appears at the end of the episode cross fussed with Proto Man and saves Lan from Desert Man.
- Mythology Gag: Aqua element attacks briefly prevent Desert Man from moving, just like in Battle Network 3.
- Would Hurt a Child: Nebula attempts to get rid of Lan by locking him in a room and filling it with sand to drown him.
