"You know where Junior's is at?!"

"It's not about me trying to do a mean-spirited initiation hazing act to them. It's a bigger picture to it. In the world of music, I gotta get up everyday and do a bunch of shit I don't wanna do. I gotta bite my tongue and I gotta do it with a smile on my face. *chuckles* But I do want some cheesecake."
P. Diddy

The band gets back together after being formed at the end of the first season a few months back. Diddy takes the time to ask them what they've been up to, and let them know what to expect now that they are an official group. He tells them that they have a house prepared for them to live and work in, but they won't be moving in immediately; he has a whole new training course he wants to put them through. For now, the band has to sleep in a Best Western hotel room, and a small one at that. The band complains, while the Bad Boy physical trainer Chris reminds them to be up early tomorrow for a workout. Bright and early, Chris wakes them up and takes them to Central Park, where Dylan refuses to play ball. Chris frustratingly reminds Dylan of how the entire reason he's even here is because of Diddy writing a passionate letter to Dylan's judge to keep him out of jail when there was a very real chance of him going in. As the rest of the band works out, Dylan walks off. When the group returns to the room, Diddy calls Ness to round up the band to come to his house and freestyle as a group. Impressed, Diddy asks what the group did yesterday, to which they reply they just stayed inside. He tells them they need to see the rest of New York City, and when Ness mentions that he's hungry, Diddy claims to be "starving too", asking for cheesecake specifically. He brings up Junior's, a cheesecake restaurant in Brooklyn, and inquires the New York natives (Babs and Dylan) to show the rest of the group the way and take them on a tour. When he notices the group is not very happy with this arrangement, he engages in some passionate teasing towards their pride and drive to work for Diddy at any cost, which the band goes along with until they get into the elevator and voice all of their objections. In the lobby, they decide to go back inside and tell Diddy off, rallying behind Ness, whom Diddy previously appointed the title of leader of the group. Almost immediately, Diddy shuts down any speeches and simply tells them anyone who doesn't want to do it is free to go home. When outside, the band discusses the ridiculous arrangements Diddy has made, to which some Bad Boy staff call them out for putting up with it all until this one very specific occasion. Diddy makes his way downstairs and really tears into them, letting them know that he will not accept any objections and if they don't like the way he runs things, they're free to leave. He is especially offended that Dylan isn't willing to make a compromise as he saved the man from almost certain jail time. After this lecture, the band reluctantly starts walking to Junior's. Along the way, Fred has an outburst, but ultimately keeps on trucking. After about 3 hours of walking, they make it to Junior's. As they walk outside, Babs accidentally drops the slice of cake, messing it up. When they try to get another, they find that the restaurant just closed up. However, the staff notices them trying to get in, thankfully opening up to fetch them a fresh slice. After another hours-long walk, the band makes it back to Diddy's place, only for the staff to let them know that Diddy left a while ago. The group is not amused. Narrating, Diddy lets us know that this is just the beginning of things the band doesn't want to do, as is the status quo of the industry..

  • All for Nothing: After hours of walking (approximately six), the band finds out that Diddy left the studio not too long before they came back. The looks on all their faces say it all.
  • Humiliation Conga: The band has to pack themselves into a tiny hotel room with two beds to six people, wake up early, exercise in the cold, walk miles for hours in the windy, chilly New York weather, drop the very thing they walked all that distance for, then walk back only to find Diddy left them high and dry.
  • No-Respect Guy: Pretty much all of the band object to Ness being named the leader, at least until it comes time for an hours-long walk.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: All of that walking only for them to return just after Diddy left.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: How multiple people, especially Diddy, view Dylan after Diddy saved him from a prison sentence, only for Dylan to refuse multiple of Diddy's training exercises.
