As the Squad try to replicate a spell, Kaleb has to handle a special task.

- But Now I Must Go: Landon and Cleo meet up inside Malivore's darkness and converse for a while. Unfortunately Cleo ends up inspiring herself with a way that Malivore can kill the Tribrid. As such Landon goes his own separate way to prevent Malivore from finding out what Cleo knows.
- Downer Ending: Not only are the Super Squad unable to transfer Malivore out of Landon but he later holds Ethan hostage in order to force Alaric to release him from the school.
- Hostage Situation: After Ethan wakes up after being knocked out Malivore calls out to him for help, luring him into a trap. Malivore then threatens to kill Ethan unless he's let free. Alaric reluctnatly agrees and the episode ends with Ethan still in Malivore's clutches.
- I Gave My Word: Hope promises Ryan that if he agrees to be the vessel for Malivore for the transfer spell she will provide him with the money necessary for his hospital bills and let him go on is way. Despite the plan ulimately failing she still gives him the money and lets him leave by the end of the episode.
- Internal Reveal: Thanks to his vampire hearing MG discovers about Lizzie and Ethan.
