Sportacus's crystal is what helps him see when others are in trouble. When he misplaces it during a save, a covetous Stingy finds it and decides to keep it under pretense of borrowing. Soon a reward poster is issued—and the reward is one wish!
Robbie Rotten decides to build a fake crystal and use his wish to kick Sportacus out of town, but while he waits for the celebration to be over he decides to get the real crystal too. Robbie attempts to bribe it out of Stingy, but when he's refused, he decides to leave him stuck in his treehouse. Sportacus realizes his crystal is fake when it didn't respond to Stingy being in trouble, and a remorseful Stingy admits to stealing and apologizes.
This episode contains examples of:
- An Aesop: Stealing is wrong and mistakes don’t just affect ourselves, but the people around us.
- Companion Cube: Stingy becomes very attached to the crystal and talks to it as if it were alive.
- Heel–Face Turn: Sportacus and Stephanie think Robbie undergoes one when he seemingly returns Sportacus' crystal. However, he returned a fake one to use the wish to kick Sportacus out of town.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: After so much attachment, Stingy admits that the crystal doesn’t belong to him and gives it back to Sportacus.
- Slapstick: During "Anything Can Happen", Sportacus catches Stephanie in a Dip, before going back up and to the other side, expecting Robbie to similarly catch her. However, Robbie didn't expect it and she comically falls down.
