A strange phenomenon of the planet's alignment is about to commence, and Japan suffers an unusual disaster in the form of a giant monster that appeared from a meteor. To that end, Professor Mondo Tatsumi calls on his five children he has not seen in ten years to become an elite rescue team: GoGo V!

- Establishing Character Moment: All the Tatsumi siblings get to showcase their bravery and individual skills as rescue workers in an emergency from the start of the episode.
- Instant Expert: Played with. While the Tatsumi siblings have experience rescuing people and handling emergencies, piloting giant Mecha and dealing with giant monsters is not something they deal with in their everyday lives. Fortunately, Mondo tells them that the GoGo V Hazard Suits will guide them in their new adventure.
- That Was Not a Dream: After the Tatsumi siblings wake up in their house, Shou wonders if they were dreaming about the Magma Golem they saw earlier. However, Mondo immediately says that what they saw was not a dream, it was real.
- Theme Music Power-Up: Once Victory Robo begins its fight against Magma Golem, the theme song starts blaring to showcase the ass-kicking the monster is about to receive.
- Transformation Is a Free Action: For once, it's averted. During the Victory Robo combination sequence, Magma Golem tries to disrupt the process, only for Shou to fire laser beams in retaliation.
