Fearsome Womb
In West Tokyo City, a cursed womb carrying a potential special grade curse appears suddenly. While Satoru Gojo is away, Kiyotaka Ijichi sends in Gojo's three students to rescue potential survivors of the said event.

- Chekhov's Gunman: The three Curses meeting Geto at a bar.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The Special Grade vs Yuji and Megumi, which almost results in their deaths. Flipped some time later as Yuji tries to invoke Sukuna to do this, and failing to turn the Curse to his side, Sukuna destroys the Special Grade Curse without any efforts.
- Evil Is Not a Toy: Yuji learns it first-hand when trying to summon Sukuna to fight the Special Grade Curse.
- Foreshadowing: Gojo's conflict with the higher-ups, which will play a vital role in the future.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Yuji forces himself to take control of his body without his heart, so that Sukuna will die with him, as well as stopping his rampage. Subverted as Sukuna foils this attempt and imprisons him in his Domain.
- Worthy Opponent: Sukuna praises Megumi's talent, and gladly decides to spare him so that he can be a fearsome opponent later.
- Sukuna also admired Itadori's guts, as he wrested back control lacking a heart, deciding to spare him as well.
