Johnny keeps having a recurring nightmare where he's in the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" and gets eaten by the wolf. In order to get back to peaceful sleep, he has Susan and Mary give him an armed advantage when he and Dukey go into his dream. However they end up running into a few complications along the way.
Tropes
- Blind Without Them: Red Riding Hood has very bad eyesight and keeps mistaking her wolf for her grandmother. Eventually Johnny gets her glasses so she can see clearly.
- Catapult Nightmare: Johnny suffers a few through the episode, usually when his encounters of the wolf go bad and he's about to be eaten.
- It Only Works Once: Susan and Mary give Johnny a blaster to defend himself from the wolf. But on first encounter he uses it against the witch of Snow White. Only to find out later when confronting the wolf that it only has one shot since the sisters figured it was all he needed against the wolf.
- Not Me This Time: On the second try into the dream, Johnny mistakes the wolf from The Three Little Pigs as the one from Little Red Riding Hood. Said wolf tries to tell him but Johnny thinks he's lying and blasts him only to be confronted by two more wolves who inform him there's more then one wolf in fairy tales, in this case the aforementioned Pigs and Red Riding Hood wolves and the one from The Seven Little Kids (aka Seven Young Goats).
- Running Gag: Dukey trying to go snack on the gingerbread house from Hansel and Gretal.
