Johnny, Dukey, Susan, and Mary go to an ice cream factory in order to get the recipe for mint chip ice cream.
Tropes:
- Blaming the Tools: Johnny blames the ice cream maker for making horrible-tasting mint chip ice cream, even though he was the one who added the wrong ingredients.
- Poor Communication Kills: The reason why Johnny and Dukey's homemade mint chip ice cream tastes terrible is due to Dukey poorly listing off the ingredients as "ice, pint of cream, mint, chips, and rock salt" with Johnny not completely listening to him. The first two are fine, but for the rest Johnny uses mint-flavored toothpaste, potato chips (due to Dukey not specifying that they have to be chocolate chips), and actual rocks and salt.
- Trial Balloon Question: After Dukey gets sucked into an ice cream packaging tube, Johnny proceeds to ask the tour guide what would happen if someone fell in a giant vat of ice cream, to which the guide (completely oblivious to Dukey behind him) cheerfully responds that they would be swirled into ice cream, chopped up into three-gallon rolls, and placed into a super-cold freezer where life would become unsustainable after the three-minute timer for the final freezing process. Johnny makes a mad dash to save his dog after hearing all that.
