It's evening, and at a seafood tavern, Rockbottom actually makes a ver good sugesstion, Hey "Professer, try to come up, boss, we gotta get money fast"., Then they hear a jolly sea captain, in what turns into a kind oflight take on Walt Disney's Pinnochio's Monstro, only the good female incarnation. Seems shee can give money when "Blow the man down"'s plahyed on a tinkly music vbox, as he tells a now entered in Felix (casuing Professor and Rock to duck under the table and then don silly disguises). The captain's going out, and he wants Felix to babysit the whale, telling him of the music box lovew, and her giving out money from ships that she's swallowed. Of course Professor and Rockwant to capitalize on this, so they weather overnight in a pond near the ocean. We see a church clock chiming. The Professor and Rock are sleepoing underwater with reedss to breathe air. The Professor's the first to rise, and he takes Rock's reed out to wake the dog up! They then see Felix lure the whale, who comes up, and gives the gold. The now gold fever struck crook duo ambush our hero, as part one ends, in a huge clam shell.
Professor,.at the start of part two, and Rock, climb inside the whale, they fall down, and not even bothered beingf in her, cheer the gold enough to waken the whale, who then splashes around!
Fortunately Goldie (as we'll call her) splashes to serendiptiously splash water on Felix (who doesn't have his bag here, and, in fact, it's being written out of this version of Felix), and thenFelix gets the music box and plays "Blow the Man Down". Of course Goldie appears. Felix answers if the crooks are still there. The whale nods. "OK, release them". But the whale thenshakes her head."Unless you release them, no more music". ooooh.Hurts ! (PS This can be a powerful scene..)The whale, understanbaly, starts silently crying, but agrees. Felix then pulls back..""Ok. Let 'm out". What happenes is our whale SPOUTING Rock and the Professor out, and they land on the beach. Rock notices tbhat they smell fishy, as Felix has a good laugh.
