Harry learns more about Equestria, and learns that, until further notice, he'll be staying with Twilight Sparkle and Spike.
Tropes that will be stuck in a tutoring session include:
- Adopting the Abused: Twilight decides to take in Harry.
- Cliffhanger: The chapter ends with Harry having a panic attack after Pinkie Pie accidentally pushes his Trauma Button (see below).
- Commonality Connection: Harry becomes more excited to live with Twilight when he learns that she lives in and runs the Ponyville library. Much like her, he loves books.
- I'm Taking Him Home with Me!: Twilight decides to take Harry in during this chapter, partially due to Princess Celestia requesting it and partially because Twilight can see that he's a good kid who's been through a lot and needs a home.
- Internal Reveal: Cheerilee teaches Harry about the many species of Equestria, something well-known to native Equestrians and every fan of MLP.
- Stumbling in the New Form: After his casts are removed, Harry takes a few minutes to try and walk like a pony. This results in a few face plants. Twilight ends up carrying him out of the hospital via levitation. He finds that he walks fine if he walks on two legs, though.
- Trauma Button: Pinkie Pie greets Harry by getting in his face and shouting about how nice it is to meet him. Harry, a child who's been abused for most of his life, screams that he's sorry and dives under the couch.
