Harry meets a very nice pony with a love for learning and has a dragon as her assistant. He also learns that his scar is more than it seems...
Tropes that were experimented on by Twilight Sparkle are as follows:
- Beyond the Impossible: Harry's unusual magical corona is this to Twilight Sparkle. Naturally, this excites as much as it surprises her.
- Good Cannot Comprehend Evil: Princess Celestia tears up when she learns how Harry was treated, and is clearly horrified that anyone would treat a child that way.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: Twilight's overzealousness scares Harry when she first meets him. Spike tells her that she's frightening him. She immediately says that she isn't... only to see him staring at her wide-eyed and scooting as far away as he can. She realizes that, yes, she is, and apologizes to him.
- No Nudity Taboo: Princess Celestia learns from Harry that the people of his world wear clothes, and that he's slightly embarrassed to see everyone in the nude (and that he himself is nude). She tells him to simply pretend that their fur is clothing, and he should be fine.
- They Would Cut You Up: Averted. As interested as Twilight is in Harry's coming from another world and having unusual magic characteristics, she only performs non-invasive tests. That he suffered pain from one of them was completely unexpected, and she felt so bad that she apologized half a dozen times.
