Honey and Chief get big heads after Jill gets them a privileged-looking doghouse, which puts them at odds with Raccoon. Chico is reunited with a previous owner he had and said owner happens to be a kidnapper of humans. Tabitha loses her fur and becomes enamored with a stray Sphynx Cat.

- Acquired Situational Narcissism: Honey and Chief become arrogant after acquiring their new fancy doghouse and befriending a group of privileged animals.
- Comically Missing the Point: Chico fails to see how horrible his previous owner is and just makes wild assumptions when concrete evidence appears before him.
- Distracted by the Luxury: Both Honey and Chief, by their new house. So much so that they don’t ”hear” Jill sobbing as she thinks about her life and returns home behind them.
- Halfway Plot Switch: Honey and Chief's plot regarding their new doghouse is soon subsided in the third act when they go to the forest to find Raccoon.
- Loophole Abuse: When Raccoon's party at Honey and Chief's new doghouse becomes too loud and wild, Honey is reluctant to shut it down on account of promising Raccoon free use of the doghouse. However, she then states that she doesn't care what Raccoon's opinion on Jill is and has her do it. This leads to Raccoon getting caught by animal control and taken far into the woods.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: In The Tag, when Honey invites all of her group into the doghouse, said doghouse ends up getting destroyed (alongside their fur) due to Tiny Fun Raccoon installing an oven.
