When Brendon is at risk of failing the fourth grade, his mother (voiced by Paula Poundstone) is forced to attend a parent-teacher conference.

- Nervous Tics: Paula tends to get off-topic and curses when speaking at parent-teacher conferences.
- Ridiculous Procrastinator: Brendon claims he hasn’t done any of his schoolwork in the past year.
- Speaking Simlish: When talking on the phone, Paula’s friend can only be heard making intelligible, cartoony murmurings.
- You Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Angry!: Brendon’s character in one of his movies doesn’t like giving speeches. So much so that he turns into a dangerous monster (played by his friend, Jason).Brendon: You wouldn’t like me when I give a speeeech!
