Revelation of the Match (マッチよりのお告げ)
The streets were cold under the frozen dark sky. Little Match Girl approached passersby, but she could not sell any matches. Not being able to go home, she lit a match with her cold hands and dreamed. The heroes who were passing by give bread to hungry Little Match Girl. But the act of mercy causes the Villains to appear...
The heroes and Little Match Girl manage to defeat the Villains. The heroes find out that Little Match Girl played an important role in the Story Zone. Suddenly, Little Match Girl lights a match and talks to her [Granny in heaven]. She then gives a revelation to the heroes. The revelation was about Warrior Marie and her companions and the imminent calamity. Then, Little Match Girl collapses. Receiving the revelation, the heroes set out to find Warrior Marie and her companions.
Lost Child Gretel (迷子のグレーテル)
In the Forest of Orphans, the heroes meet Gretel, who is looking for her brother. She was separated from her brother in the forest. She was one of the companions in the revelation, one of the [brother and sister of the Forest of Orphans]. The heroes and a tearful Gretel walk through the forest in search of Hansel, who is destined to become a companion of the Warrior...
The heroes arrive at where Hansel was last seen and find cookie crumbs littered on the ground by someone. It was Hansel’s doing. He left a trail. The heroes follow the trail to find Hansel...
Brother & Sister and the Thorn Castle Opening (兄妹といばらの城)
Hansel escaped from his kidnappers and was hiding in the Thorn Castle. The heroes who were following the trail meet Hansel. While the brother and sister rejoice in their reunion, the heroes realize that the Thorn Princess, one of the companions of the Warrior, sleeps in the castle where Hansel was hiding. The heroes, Hansel, and Gretel enter the castle to meet the Thorn Princess.
They reached the Thorn Princess’s room. It is said that her true love’s kiss would wake up the cursed Thorn Princess, who had been sleeping for a century. But the heroes debate over the legend. As they start to digress from the topic, an angry girl steps out of the room. She had already been awoken by the kiss of a prince. She was the Thorn Princess.
Dragon of Ruins (滅びの龍)
The prince’s kiss was fine, but a century of changes wasn’t. The thorn Princess could not keep up with the change of time. She parted with the prince and barred herself in the castle. No matter what Hansel and the others said, she did not budge. But it was Tao who succeeded in persuading the Thorn Princess. She then directs the heroes to a cave.
In the depth of the cave, the heroes find a shrine that lay in ruins. According to the Thorn Princess, terrible beings called the Dragons of Ruins were sealed inside the cave. With the seal broken, a calamity drew near in this Story Zone. Unable to find Warrior Marie, an important figure, the heroes grow impatient. Then the heroes see Hansel and Gretel running towards them. Hansel and Gretel told the heroes that a few dragons appeared from the direction of the cave and are attacking a village now.
Beginning of a Legend (伝説のはじまり)
The heroes arrived at the village and saw rampaging dragons. But without Warrior Marie, they had no idea how to battle the dragons. While the heroes and Thorn Princess watched with their arms folded, Little Match Girl appears and shares an amazing story. Finally, the true identity of Warrior Marie comes to light. And the story reaches the climax with the appearance of Warrior Marie...
Warrior Marie. Gretel. Hansel. Thorn Princess. People praise them as saviors. The heroes left the Story Zone, escorted by the Warrior and her companions, who are destined to fabulous adventures. The heroes pray that they continue to succeed in their adventures. The legend of the young warriors has just begun.
Tropes appearing in this episode:
- And the Adventure Continues: Little Match Girl (now calling herself Warrior Marie) and the other 3 embark on new adventures at the end of the event.
- Arc Villain: The sealed dragons of ruins. Gameplay-wise, they were just a bunch of Mega Dragons.
- Bystander Syndrome: When the party arrives at the village (now already engulfed in flames by the dragons), they decide not to interfere since that would only cause trouble to the Story Zone. Fortunately for them, Little Match Girl steps in to save the day.
- The Cape: Little Match Girl turns out to be the legendary Inferno Warrior Marie. Although she doesn't step into battle until the party gathered the other 3.
- Dying Dream: Little Match Girl begins to hallucinate her dead granny telling her to find a warrior called Marie and her 3 companions so they can save the world, which she leaves to the heroes as she passes out... She actually just caught a cold, and didn't feel like gathering her companions by herself. She's briefly called out for that by the party.
- I Lied: The hallucination episode is just something Little Match Girl made up because she was too lazy to gather her teammates.
- No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: The moment Tao gives a bread to a starving Little Match Girl, the zone's Story Teller sends Villains to attack the girl and the party.
