Go To

Glynda goes to the southern entrance and encounters two golems and Headmaster Zhuge Liang. He apologizes for not meeting her and the students when they arrived. She is shocked when a chariot pulled by two bulls flies through the sky to them, bearing a massive man in armor who calls Zhuge by his original name Waver. He is Iskandar, the King of Conquerors, who had just returned from a mission to take some territory from the Grimm. When he sees the two of them, he assumes they were on a date until Zhuge corrects him. Zhuge introduces Glynda, and Iskandar is surprised because he didn't know about the exchange program, but he is eager to teach the Beacon Academy students in a few days. Zhuge sends the students' names to his scroll, then he drives away.

Zhuge talks about how Iskandar was his partner back when he was a student. Iskandar's dream is to conquer the world, while he worked his way up to Headmaster, to help people reach their full potential. She asks how Iskandar's chariot flies. He explains that the bulls used to be Grimm, but were captured and infused with the Aura of a Rider until they reverted to animal form, but they retain some of their powers. He tells her her class will start in a week to give her time to study Chaldea Academy's ways and develop a curriculum. She asks why her students had to start class right away, and he says it's better to be exposed to new situations as soon as possible. She walks away contemplating this.

Weiss, Marie, Blake, and Atalanta are in Professor William Shakespeare's literature class. Shakespeare stands there vigorously quoting his plays. While most of the students are not playing attention, the four of them do, and Blake the bookworm is loving it. However, a girl with long black hair in a military uniform and hat with a red cape is playing a video game on her scroll and talking. Weiss tells her to be quiet, only for Shakespeare and all the students to turn their attention to her. The girl introduces herself as Oda Nobunaga, the Grimm Archer, and is mad that Weiss insulted her game. Shakespeare tells them to settle it in a fight and make a bet. The two agree that if Weiss wins, Nobunaga has to delete her game, and if Nobunaga wins, Weiss has to give her enough money to buy new game apps.

Weiss uses her rapier Myrtenaster and her Glyphs, while Nobunaga uses a sword. Eventually, Weiss disarms her and thinks she has won, but Nobunaga shocks her by summoning several matchlock rifles, boasting she has over 3000. Weiss forms a wall of ice, but the bullets chip away at it until it is destroyed. Entertained, Shakespeare takes notes and says he is getting inspiration for a new story. Weiss knocks her into the air with a Glyph and tries to slash her, but she is skilled enough to use her rifles as melee weapons. Suddenly, class runs out of time, so Shakespeare declares it a draw, meaning neither of them won their bet. He orders the two to stay until they clean up the room. Her group tells Weiss they will meet later and turn her weapon into a Noble Phantasm. As they leave, Blake stares at Nobunaga for a few seconds and says she thought she saw something.

Astolfo takes Ruby to Dr. Roman's lab. They tell the confused girl to put her weapon Crescent Rose into a scanner and step into another one. When the process is finished, the weapon vanishes into thin air. She panics, but Astolfo tells her the weapon has become a Noble Phantasm and bonded with her soul. All she has to do is look into her soul and call for it. Ruby concentrates and it appears in her hand in a burst of rose petals. Astolfo is amazed because people don't normally get it on their first try. Ruby thinks this is so cool. Yang and Mordred walk in and Mordred apologizes to Ruby. They just need to turn Yang's weapon into a Noble Phantasm and then they have their first class.
