Fanboy and Chum Chum are appointed the school's hall monitors just as Kyle is trying to finish an essay to return to Milkweed Academy, and hinder his every move.
Tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: Kyle loses his re-admittance once again, and his process is reset; however, he happily accepts to be a third hall monitor along with Fanboy and Chum Chum and even joins their band.
- Book Ends: At the start, Mr. Mufflin offers Kyle the position of hall monitor, but he declines; at the end Fanboy gives him the same question, and this time he accepts it.
- Bottle Episode: The episode is set entirely at the gang's school.
- Dance Party Ending: The episode ends with FB and CC starting up another square dance outside the school with their jug band, and even Kyle joins.
- Eye Pop: Kyle does it when he sees a goat eating up his essay.
- Rule of Three: The first essay is eaten by a goat; the second is eaten by the Cerberus. Kyle has no time left to write a third, thus he puts it all down in a rebus on a stickynote, which Flan somehow accepts.
- With a Foot on the Bus: Kyle's third "essay" (actually pictures on a stickynote) is accepted and he is about to sign the re-admittance contract, but Flan is eaten by the Cerberus which returns, thus denying him once more. He never tried again after this episode.
