Victor is imprinted with the mind of a psychopath recently rendered braindead after being hit by a car, and troubles arise when he escapes. Echo is sent for a romantic engagement to a college professor.

- Even Evil Has Standards: After looking at Terry's brain scan Topher admits that he has ethical concerns about using Dollhouse tech to wake him up. This is the man who had no problem brainwashing people and rewriting their personalities as part of daily operations. Boyd lampshades how unexpected this is.Boyd: Topher has ethical problems. Topher!
- Foreshadowing: Topher establishing that even he has some semblance of ethical standards. This will become very important in the next episode.
- "Freaky Friday" Flip: Topher's attempt at replicating Alpha's remote wipe backfires, swapping Echo and Victor's minds instead.
- Lack of Empathy: Topher points out that Terry's MRI indicates that the part of his brain that processes empathy and compassion is underdeveloped because "he doesn't use that part".
- Living Doll Collector: Terry poses the women he abducts as dolls based on his female relatives.
- Teacher/Student Romance: The "Kiki" persona was requested by a college professor to act out a Sextra Credit scenario.
