Hiro and Ruli pay a visit to Kiyoshiro's data center facility in a rural area. Unfortunately for them, there are reports of livestock vanishing in that place, and as they later find out, mysterious reanimated skeletons of humans are roaming around looking for prey.
- Mercy Kill: RareRaremon ends up being killed by all three of the hero's Perfects. It's treated as them putting it out of its misery, and nobody is happy in that fight.
- Technically-Living Zombie: RareRaremon isn't even considered a living Digimon, but an already dead organism.
- Zombie Apocalypse: RareRaremon's reanimated skeletons can infect both humans and animals and those can also bite other living beings and turn them into zombies. If left ignored, the infected will throw themselves to RareRaremon. At the middle of the episode, the zombies had overran the whole town and near the end of it, they had also ran over the data center.
