Summary

The news summarizes the Magical Gate incident, listing the children trapped inside. Frustrated over failing to save his brother (Kaito), Kento spends time practicing Kendo. He remembers his father challenging both him and Kaito to a dual at once to teach them to working together. Kaito's father is about to return to his work in the World Link Administration Center. Before leaving, he assures Kento that he will save Kaito along with the trapped children.

Later at dusk, Aoi visits Kaito and finds him trying to contact Gladion. Suddenly, the lights went out. On the admin's side, they find the virus spreading to the rest of the network, beyond just Magical Gate. While they are trying to deal with the problem, Gladion finally contacts with Kento. He explains that due to Deletloss' interference, the two cannot communicate for a while. But in the mean time, Gladion converted the Magical Gate into the Magical Station, the last form of defense against Deletoss. All Gladion needs to do left is to fight off the Web Soldiers that's targeting their final Area; if Deletoss manages to get hold of that, the world would fall into chaos.

At first, Kento has trouble fighting off the Web Soldier, failing to hit even a single one before timing out. While Gladion is under maintenance, the Web Soldier continues to attack the Magical Station. It took a while, but Gladion's maintenance completes. Before the two head out again, Gladion talked to Kento, revealing that his heart to rescue the trapped children helped reformatting Magical Gate as an area of fortress. With renewed conviction, Kento rides in Gladion into battle, this time being able to defeat all enemies including a newly-introduced gigantic one.

Following the victory, the Magical Station is fully protected against Deletloss' control. As Kento returns back home, Gladion installs a new program into Karon, Kento's robotic computer. It can record past battles for analysis and, more importantly, watch Kento over in the real world.
