Summary:

The end of the school year is near; Wheels (struggling after his parents' death) only manages to scrape by, and Spike's marks are so bad that she is recommended to do correspondence courses, something she doesn't take too kindly to. Meanwhile, Joey plans on taking Caitlin to the graduation dance, but his mom only allows it if his grades are a C or above.

• Appeal to Worse Problems: Ms. Avery pulls a version of this on Spike when the latter doesn't take kindly to having to do correspondence courses due to the stress of being a teenage mother.
