While the Udrogothian Royal Family (minus Candy, who had to stay behind to do some "princess paperwork") goes to the "Cliffs of Fabulous Shopping," Dave fears he has been brainwashed to act like a bully by the Dark Lord Chuckles the Silly Piggy when he hears rumors about himself ruining towns.

- Clockwork Creature: Mecha-Dave's inner workings are just like that of the clockwork-model of Udrogoth that Dave made.
- Failed a Spot Check: When Candy easily tells her brother apart from Mecha-Dave and Chuckles questions how she could've figured it out, Candy points that Mecha-Dave has a giant wind-up key in his back and questions how her sister and their uncle didn't notice it. As it would seem, they did notice it but (Oswidge at least) thought the giant key was just "some kind of growth."
