- Butt-Monkey: Once the rest of Sector V arrives to rescue him, Numbuh 1 proceeds to suffer all manner of misfortunes due to his teammates' negligence, ranging from getting tied up, banged against walls and pipes while being lifted, getting electrocuted, doused in ink, and falling on the ground when Numbuh 2 fails to properly catch him.
- The Cassandra: Numbuh 1 tries to get his team to leave him with Professor XXXL to continue the Perfect Snowcone Experiment, but they assume that his brain has been stolen and refuse his request.
- Changed My Mind, Kid: The rest of Sector V wanted to go to the beach as it was their day off. They soon decide that they should help Numbuh 1 at the college. However, it becomes Unwanted Assistance.
- Chekhov's Skill: Early in the episode, Numbuh 1 mentions that he never gets brain freeze. This is the reason why Professor XXXL has him be his snow cone taste-tester.
- Downer Ending: The rest of Sector V foil Professor XXXL's experiment and take Numbuh 1 to the beach with them, which he is unhappy about because he didn't want to go there in the first place and he never got to tell Professor XXXL the last snow cone he tested was perfect.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: The others believe they'd rescued Numbuh 1 from having his brain stolen when they've actually ruined Professor XXXL's attempt to create the perfect snow cone right when he finally did it.
- Unwanted Assistance: The rest of the team save Numbuh 1 from Professor XXXL, but he was clearly enjoying having to taste-test the professor's snowcones.
- Volleying Insults: Numbuh 1 and 5 engage in a childish sequence of taunts over their initial disagreement about the mission.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Numbuh 1 says this when Professor XXXL tells him to try the snow cone he just made.
