When the boys propose holding a school dance, they find themselves having to organize the whole event. Meanwhile, Carlos and Logan try to find dates for the dance, while Kendall and Katie team-up to set their mom up with Guest Star Fabio Lanzoni.

- Catfishing: Mr. Bitters lists himself as a lawyer, fighter pilot, and Olympic gold medalist on his online dating profile.
- Dude Magnet: Mrs. Knight got an entire convention of handsome doctors practically breaking down her front door to get a chance with her.
- Hypocrite: The Jennifers each shoot Carlos down in rapid succession when he tries to ask them to the dance, and then complain about how nobody's asking them to the dance. They realize this, and decide to make him roleplay as their respective dream guy.
- Meaningful Background Event: During the crowd shot when the band begins singing Stuck, you can clearly spot Fabio among them, a few moments before he introduces himself to Mrs. Knight.
- Relationship Upgrade: Two: Kendall and Jo, and Logan and Camille. Though Kendall was under the impression that this already happened, which is why he didn't bother asking Jo to the dance.
- Shoddy Shindig: The students at Palmwoods never like their end of school year party because Bitters makes himself the main entertainment every time. Last year's party had his "attempts" at balloon animals.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Despite this episode setting Stephanie up as Carlos's love interest, she never appears again.
- Won't Take "Yes" for an Answer: When the boys decide to ask Gustavo if they can use the recording studio for the dance, it takes them a minute to process that he actually said yes as they already covered their ears for him screaming no.
