Brenda befriends Kelly's former best friend, Tiffany, who shoplifts and ends up framing Brenda for it by leaving he clothes at Brenda's house. Later, they are caught at a store and Brenda struggles to convince her mother that she didn't do it. Ind the end, Cindy understands and tries to help Tiffany. Meanwhile, Brandon is trying to get an after-school job and ends up working at a trendy restaurant that underpays its staff, who are mostly immigrants. When Brandon learns this, he quits and Dylan introduces Brandon to his favourite eatery in town - the Peach Pit - and the owner, Nat. Brandon gets a job here as a waiter.
