Shawn is scared about growing up so Barney and the other kids decide that they should all pretend to do various jobs as a way of changing that. Shawn does overcome his fear but now is worried that he will have to stop being friends with Barney. Barney assures him that they can still be friends no matter how old Shawn gets.
